DES Employment and Training

 

Consultants will generally remain on the jobsite with the Jobseeker for the duration of the Workplace Training and Assessment to:

  • Assist the training of the Jobseeker to meet the productivity expectations of the employer;
  • Undertake an assessment of the needs, skills and suitability of the Jobseeker to the position;
  • Identify any Workplace Modifications that may provide a benefit to the Jobseeker and enable them to be more  productive in the workplace;
  • Identify any employer incentives that the placement may qualify for; and
  • Most importantly to support both the Jobseeker and Employer through the program and facilitate the development of effective employer, employee and/or co-worker relationships.
