Free Support and Training
DES provides a free training and support service for Jobseekers placed with an employer. This means that DES will:
- Assist the employer to train their new staff member in their duties and to meet the productivity and workplace expectations of the employer;
- Provide ongoing support to the jobseeker and employer to help the Jobseeker to fit into the work environment, overcome any difficulties and achieve a long term employment outcome; and
- Training and support will be provided for as long as the Employer, Employee and DES deems is necessary to deliver successful and sustainable employment
